Elm Vase

|
This piece was turned from a large elm log. This log was approximately 36” in diameter and 24” in length. I cut the log lengthwise into four quarter sections, one of which I used for this piece. There is a large natural void on one side of the vase that I have inlayed with turquoise, and I left a small patch of the logs weathered, exterior surface showing on the opposite side of the vase. |
